Fearfully & Wonderfully

What is our purpose in life? This is the big question of life! It has had me thinking, and I wanted to share a special link if you have been asking yourself this lately.
You are fearfully and wonderfully made-2.png

For you created my inmost being;

you knit me together in my mother's womb.

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;

your works are wonderful,

I know that full well.

Psalm 139:13 & 14

This Psalm has echoed within me for a long time now. It's been a theme, especially in this season of writing for me. Anytime doubt tries to creep in, this reminds me of something special. It reminds me that God created me, and although I may not fully understand or be living out everything He has made me be, I know that His word is a daily reminder of who He is- He is my creator; and who I am- I am His creation.

I love the part that says: I know that full well.

How do I know that full well? Because I choose to believe it, if He said it, I believe it, and I won't let doubt or fear stop me from believing His word. And sometimes I hit publish on a blog, and I'm nervous, but no biggie (what's new), because it's God who gives me the courage to do it anyway. He gets all the glory from what is read and how it is received.

For a long time, I didn't consider myself someone with a unique talent or skill. And maybe you are reading this and thinking the same thing. But the truth is we are all created in God's image, and we all have something to offer.

On Sunday, we started a new series at my church:

How to Oikos- Part 1: The Supernatural Secret.

The big secret is walking close to Jesus and serving those around you. And the bigger secret is how, because we each are created to bring something different to the Kingdom of God. How can God use little ol' me? I would love to share that teaching with you! Just hit the link above!
