Not Knowing Where
This Trail Will Lead
Hey guys! How's summer going?? Still, one month before we get into the Fall routine. For me that means waking up earlier and getting my son to school and myself to work on time! Plus, making time for homework every night without losing it, lol. I am not ready but will mentally start preparing for the season change. Summer is definitely a season I enjoy so much. I love the sunny blue skies and the warm temperatures.
Soon enough, we will see the season change in the air—cooler mornings and sun setting earlier each day.
Change there's that word we aren't always crazy about or eager to accept. I got to say I am looking forward to something exciting this Fall. Exciting and a little nerve-wracking because new things are coming. The unknown is always like that, though. But, the expectancy that God is up to something unique is what I am looking forward to. A few things have been in the works, and we have been planning, praying, preparing—overall anticipating great things!
Anticipating something new.
I'm excited about something new I will be adding to my blog. I will soon be inviting guest writers (friends) to share their hearts with you all. I love to see how God works in the life of others, what He speaks, what He has done. The testimony of others always encouraging me to have different perspectives and be open to seeing His glory in different ways. I am excited to be able to share how amazing God has been with other people. I think this will be a great blessing to you all. So stay on the lookout for that soon!
Another excited and much-anticipated project is Ancla Worship Collective {IG @anclawc}. Something that has been envisioned alongside my husband, David, and other wonderful people who are just as passionate. It is a collective of worship creatives called to lead an authentic revival in their church and community. It's all about gaining a deeper understanding of your purpose and calling and putting it into action for the Kingdom of God. Over the past two years (since moving to Washington), I felt like I was on this journey of really discovering what my purpose was and how God could use me (and believe in it). There was a lot of unpacking going on. And during this time, I have had a more profound understanding of what all that meant: my purpose, my calling. And now I see how this journey I was on has led to what is to come. It's thrilling to think of what God will do in each person!
The mastermind who can help.
I'm not sure what has been stirring up in your life, what changes you have ahead, but I certainly hope it has been bringing you a lot closer to seeking God. Sometimes change is overwhelming- where to start, what to do, is it the right thing? I can recommend one thing, pray about it. Ask God to clear your mind and focus your heart to hear Him. He answers. Those moments with Him in prayer, in worship, or simply meditating on His word. He answers. And somehow, that uncertainty turns into knowing where you need to start, and it becomes clear.
Sometimes we want the whole picture before we start to put things into action, but it begins with those little steps, and sooner or later, you see His purpose for you start to come together.
